Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing and controlling selected human resources functions of the hospital including advertising/recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new staff.  This position assists staff with benefits and training and development.  Serves as a liaison to staff, management, and administration for all aspects of guidelines including Federal and State regulations.  Must be able to work under pressure with tight time constraints and have better than average human relations and organizational skills.  The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of HR principles, payroll functions, EEOC and related employment laws.

Full Time Day position with occasional evenings

High School Graduate or GED required.  A degree from a higher learning institution preferred.

HR certification preferred
