Unit Clerk-Emergency Dept

This position requires:

  • Non-clinical team member
  • Unit Clerk performs clerical and receptionist/communication duties
    • Including phone etiquette, as well as requisitioning/stocking supplies
  • Greets and registers patients in the ED and other areas as needed
  • Assists with patient room placement, answers call lights, perform rounds
  • Assists in maintaining a safe/clean environment under the direction of the       RN/LPN in charge
  • Supports and promotes an environment conducive with our Mission, Vision, and Values here at HAH, as well as following our Standards of Behavior
  • Assist and maintain document control aspects
  • Communicates with the Healthcare team
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patients, team members, and our providers
  • Must be knowledgeable of general hospital policies and procedures
  • Must be flexible as hours/days/holidays may vary
  • Other duties not listed here, may be expected as well
