Welcome to the Diamond Club! |

Do you struggle to understand your medical costs from your Medicare Summary Notice or Explanation of Benefits (EOB)?
Do you wonder how much Medicare paid and how they came to that figure?
Are you confused about whether to pay from the EOB or wait for a bill?
Do you ask yourself -- what’s my deductible or co-pay, and what about my secondary insurance?
"If these are questions that worry you, then Diamond Club may be just what you need," says Coordinator Joyce Fath. "We help take the worries and confusion out of healthcare paperwork."
Diamond Club is a program designed by Hillsboro Area Hospital to provide assistance with all your health insurance claims. This service will help control your healthcare costs by ensuring that you receive the maximum benefits entitled to you.
As coordinator, I will assist you with claims for any hospital or doctor’s office, making certain that your insurance has paid its part before you are billed any co-pay or deductible amounts.
Residents of any age from Montgomery County or any bordering county qualify for Diamond Club membership. The membership fee is $45 yearly.
Diamond Club is also a referral source for the Philips Lifeline Medical Alert Service. This is the program in which a person living alone may be provided with a personal emergency monitoring system. In the event of a fall or emergency, help is available at the push of a button.
Diamond Club is conveniently located in the Douglas-Telfer building at 1220 E. Tremont on the campus of Hillsboro Area Hospital. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please call (217) 532-6767 for an appointment.
I also make trips to Nokomis, Litchfield and Raymond for your convenience on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, by appointment only.
There is a drop-off box conveniently located in the hospital, where members may leave their papers. Mailed correspondence can be sent to Diamond Club, 1200 E. Tremont, Hillsboro, IL 62049
I look forward to serving you with all your healthcare paperwork.
