August 4th Golf Tournament to Benefit Scholarship Fund for local medical stsudents

On August 4, 2007 Hillsboro Area Health Foundation is sponsoring a golf tournament at Hillsboro Country Club with proceeds benefiting scholarships for local residents attending medical school and making a commitment to practice in our community. We hope you will join us as a player or as a sponsor.

The Hillsboro community has historically benefited from an adequate number of physicians with local ties. Numbers of physicians for the future, however, cannot be assured as our existing physicians are entering the age of reduced practices and eventually retirement. The time to invest in our physicians of the future is now. To do this, Hillsboro Area Health Foundation, in concert with the Medical Staff at Hillsboro Area Hospital, has committed significant support to local residents actively pursuing careers in medicine.

We hope you are able to participate and enjoy an outstanding day of golf and relaxation, all for a good cause. The sponsorship packages are outlined on the attached. If you are unable to golf, you may still choose to support our golf tournament through a hole sponsorship, a gift bag donation or a monetary donation to Hillsboro Area Health Foundation.
