MMS Lead RN Nights

The Lead Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation with consideration of the aging process, human development stages, and cultural diversity. Directs and coordinates all nursing care for monitored/medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and hospital policy and procedure. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement desired patient outcomes.  This position, will remain thoroughly informed of patient needs, plans of care, treatment options, physical and emotional concerns, interdisciplinary and discharge activities, and will assist with seamless care throughout the healthcare continuum.

The ideal candidate must be self motivated, a positive role model, and be able to recognize when there is an opportunity to assist other members of the team. This position will assist the Assistant Director, Director or House Charges when needed. Must have the willingness to continue self development of skills, continued education and assist in meeting patient satisfaction scores and customer expectations.

Full Time 12 hour night shift (1845-0715) - weekend and holiday rotation required

IL RN license with 2 years of experience on a Med Surg unit or higher acuity is preferred

CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC is preferred

Supervisory nurse experience preferred
