Dana (Spinner) Holshouser

Hillsboro Area Hospital's new speech pathologist is Dana (Spinner) Holshouser, MS, CCC-SLP, of Hillsboro. She works with patients in the hospital and at TeamWork Rehab, the outpatient facility.

A 2002 graduate of Hillsboro High School, Holshouser graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University. In 2008 she received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

She has a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is also a member of the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Her experience includes evaluating and treating adults and children with speech, language and swallowing disorders.

Dana and her husband, Tyson, are both natives of Hillsboro. He is employed as a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department. Their daughter, Hazel, will be one year old on Nov. 1.
